ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day at Wagga RSL Club is an opportunity to reflect on how lucky you are, the sacrifices that have been made for you to live in a free and fair nation and to enjoy the company of your friends and family. It is a time to reflect on the importance of peace.

The Wagga RSL Club invites you to commemorate the day with your family and friends at your club. Enjoy a buffet breakfast from 6.30am,  moving sunset service at 5.30pm and live entertainment with Playback from 8pm. Everyone is welcome.

5:30am – Legacy Dawn Service

Held at the Wagga Cenotaph, Victory Memorial Gardens

7am – War Cemetery Service

Held at the War Cemetery, Kooringal Road

Gunfire Buffet Breakfast – Wagga RSL Club

No need to book. Buffet includes bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans, mushrooms, grilled tomato, hashbrowns, assorted toast, cereals, fruit salad, juice, tea & coffee, plus your traditional rum & milk. Adults $25pp | Kids $15pp | Kids under 5 free

9:30am – Marchers Assemble

Meet at the corner of Baylis and Morgan Streets

10:00am – ANZAC Parade March

Procession moves down Baylis Street to the Cenotaph

10:30am – Wreath Laying & Commemorative Service

Held at the Cenotaph

12:30pm – ANZAC Day Lunch

Held in the Mirage Room, Wagga RSL Club. $20pp – RSL Sub-Branch members, $25pp – ADF personnel, $30pp – Visitors, $15pp – Children (5–14 years) | Kids under 5 free. Includes limited beverages, a buffet luncheon and entertainment

5:30pm – ANZAC Day Sunset Service

Commencing at 5:30 pm, conducted by the Wagga Wagga RSL Sub-Branch held out the front of the Wagga RSL Club corner of Kincaid and Dobbs Streets.

8pm – Playback live in the SportsBar 

All ceremonies, except for the Dawn Service, are co-ordinated by The Returned Services League of Australia (Wagga Wagga Sub Branch)
